    Here's SIE!! (A24653233) Sie is an affectionate, neutered, 3-5 year old, Terrier/Pit Bull mix who currently resides in the city shelter waiting for his forever home. This terrific guy is all about playtime. He loves playing fetch and will chase any ball that you throw his way. He is also very polite and will bring the ball back to you and drop it nicely. He's a friendly guy who loves people and even likes greeting the other dogs at the shelter with the hopes of making some friends. In addition to being a sweetie pie, Sie is simply a gorgeous fellow.     Mya is 10 months old, I bought her when she was 4 months old. I have a 2 year old and an adult rescue at home as well and as she has started to mature, her temperament has changed significantly. She is extremely loyal and devoted to myself, very submissive and loves to go for runs. However, she is aggressive towards my other dog, in terms of food, attention from me as well as toys. She 'tolerates' my son but I feel as though she would be best in a home without young children. If I were by myself she would be the perfect dog! It hurts me to have to find her a new home but it is best for everyone including her.

    Akita Dogs can make good pets in Pennsylvania if they match your IifestyIe. The Akita Inu, or Japanese Akita, is a large Spitz-type breed of dog. Akitas are intelligent, companionable animals and make excellent guard dogs. Akitas are willful and need firm training. Akitas are protective of children in their own families, but may be aggressive toward outsiders and should be supervised with small kids. Akitas may bite if provoked; they need to be treated with gentleness and respect. Akitas can live in an apartment but do need sufficient exercise; they do best with a large yard.
