It kills me to write this but I am looking to rehome my beautiful boy. He is so sweet and loving but he shows major dog aggression to my neighbours dog and I have two very small children in my home. I can't take the risk. He loves being outside in his dog house. And coming inside to snuggle on the couch. Serious inquiries only.

Looking for loving family for my energetic female Akita. Leila is a very good puppy who likes to play and deserves a good home. She can be aggressive with other dogs when food is present.

Akita Dogs can make good pets in Canada if they match your IifestyIe. The Akita Inu, or Japanese Akita, is a large Spitz-type breed of dog. Akitas are intelligent, companionable animals and make excellent guard dogs. Akitas are willful and need firm training. Akitas are protective of children in their own families, but may be aggressive toward outsiders and should be supervised with small kids. Akitas may bite if provoked; they need to be treated with gentleness and respect. Akitas can live in an apartment but do need sufficient exercise; they do best with a large yard.
